“Zodchestvo” is the international festival of architecture, where cities and regions of Russia present their achievements in architecture and urban development to local and foreign visitors.
The festival is hosted by “Gostiny Dvor” exhibition complex, right in the heart of Moscow, November 11-13, 2020. The event is organized by the Union of Architects of Russia and supported by the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning.
Eduard Cubensky, the curator, suggested “Eternity” as the topic for the festival. This topic is aimed at searching for and identifying modern architecture and urban development trends and will be represented in the format of business events and in the exhibition space of the festival.
According to Eduard, “…architects of the past used to project their buildings to last forever, but the estimated lifetime of modern buildings is compensated by “eternal” quality of cutting edge construction materials. What used to “age gracefully” now is able to be “forever young””.
And indeed, in addition to long lifetime our modules retain their original appearance despite the environmental conditions.
Our colleagues from “Archinform” architect bureau take part in the exhibition programme of the festival. And our modules from the “Pebbles” collection are perfect addition to their display, dedicated to the 12th anniversary of the bureau.
